Eaton Corporation Analytics Product Owner - Sales Operations in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton is currently seeking an Analytics Product Owner to join our team. This hybrid position is based in Moon Township, PA. This exciting opportunity will play a strategic role in product development and will have high visibility with stakeholders to understand their expectations.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000.03 - $154,000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

As an Analytics Product Owner, you will be the visionary force behind Athena, a self-service analytics application focused on Sales Operations. Your mission is to evolve Athena into an indispensable tool for over 600 users in our Sales Operations and Project Management organizations, enabling them to harness the power of data analytics to drive data informed decision making and answer the question, how are we performing. In this role you will functionally manage the activities of support analysts and quality analysts to ensure the value Athena delivers to the user base is consistently high.

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Define and articulate the vision for Athena, ensuring it aligns with business goals set by the Customer Experience team,

  • Customer Support Council, and user needs

  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap and prioritized product backlog that balances new features, enhancements, and maintenance work.

  • User Engagement: Actively engage with the user community to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and incorporate insights into product development. Develop and maintain user stories and log them in DevOps tools. Lead communications with User groups to provide updates on new products and features.

  • Feature Launch Strategy: Define and implement a plan of action to communicate, educate, and maximize usage of new features. Including facilitating or leading training sessions for new products and features.

  • Data Governance: In collaboration with development resources ensure Athena adheres to data governance standards and best practices for data quality, security, and privacy.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business and development teams to prioritize and deliver product initiatives.

  • Business Value and Performance Metrics: Own and track the business value of the Athena platform to ensure each product delivers on our productivity goals. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure Athena’s impact and success.

  • Innovation: Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies to inform the evolution of Athena is keeping pace with user expectations.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, similar role in analytics, or as a leader in a Customer Support organization.

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

  • Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA – no relocation will be provided for this role. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, computer science, or related field.

  • Scrum Product Owner certification is highly desirable

Skills:

Technical knowledge

  • Strong understanding of analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence concepts.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.

  • Scrum Product Owner certification is highly desirable

  • Experience working with Customer Support teams is preferred.

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willing and able to travel up to 25%
