Role and Responsibilities
The role we are offering you:
The Finance Business Partner, Technology responsibilities are to ensure a solid financial governance on CAE Technology projects, support internal clients to achieve financial targets, support forecasting and budgeting activities and prepare business cases for technology investments.
Be ready to:
Govern Budget and Forecast process
Prepare Business Cases for investment opportunities, challenge the numbers, build and support financial assumptions
Implement, oversee and improve monthly reviews for technology projects
Prepare monthly/ quarterly financial reporting packages for Executives, explain discrepancies versus Budget and Previous Forecast
Identify project financial risks and be a key contributor in the mitigation of those risks
Partner with Technology and Business Segments to unify visions and simplify processes
Support the team members in their day-to-day tasks
Perform financial analyses and defy status quo
The ideal candidate has:
MBA or a professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in technology
Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, gap analysis
Organized, detail-oriented, autonomous, and able to take initiative
Team player, ability to lead and customer-oriented
Proactive, dynamic, and problem solver
Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
Ability to communicate in French and English (written and spoken)
MS Excel /MS PowerPoint/ MS Outlook/ MS Teams advanced user skills
Planisware knowledge is considered an asset
