Oracle Senior Financial Analyst-, Cloud Cost Allocations in Montpelier, Vermont

Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst–Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will drive the internal cost allocation process and provide finance support to internal Oracle customers. This involves cost allocation calculations, analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting. You are responsible for facilitating relationships with other Oracle finance departments to provide advice and assistance about their charges.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of the fasting growing businesses for the company. In OCI Finance, members of the Workload Health team are responsible for all aspects of cloud infrastructure financial planning, and modeling for a specific product family within the broader OCI ecosystem. We are a partner and trusted strategic adviser to the OCI Leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while rapidly scaling.

Main Responsibilities:

Own all Finance monthly and quarterly activities for internal allocations of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) costs, such as driving forecast and budget processes, and preparing journal entries

Strong technical skills are required, able to work with large amounts of data in Excel and maintain integrity of transactional system data

Drive innovation and automation, collaborate with business users and engineering to improve and developing vital tooling

Prepare meaningful financial reports and provide insight data analyses about variances

Strong customer focus, able to partner with finance teams across Oracle, understand their needs, provide timely responses, research and resolve issues

Participate in special projects as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years finance experience.

  • Excellent modeling and analytical skills, attention to detail. Ability to turn data into insights.

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
