Pay Rate

$98,000 – $119,800

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Position will work remotely and reside in Central Alabama area

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Participate in Fiber Supply Peer Reviews and Fiber Receipt Reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Lead Surveillances Dealing with Criminal Activities – employees, suppliers, producers, truckers. Determine involvement with Corp Security, HR, Audit and Legal protocols to follow. Prepare factual evidence, analysis and prepare written communications needed to justify findings and present them to upper management.

  • Conduct site security assessments at mills and woodyards, assessing security and effectiveness of physical controls to protect IP assets.

  • Coordinate & Perform Monthly DVR System and Camera Reviews. Identify Light Tare Weight exceptions and prepare appropriate ticket corrections for recoupment of funds owed to International Paper. Provide video evidence when required.

  • Deliver Control Training & Presentations – participate in Fiber Supply meetings and give controls training with respect to fiber receiving procedures.

  • Assist with Fiber Supply Help Line Calls – assist with handling highly sensitive and confidential Help Line calls relative to Fiber Supply inquiries.

  • Lead/Assist Special Projects & Initiatives – lead projects related to DVR camera systems evaluations, scaling systems reviews, new monitoring control devices relative to scaling fiber deliveries

  • Provide Fiber Security Consulting/Advice with Global Regions – share monitoring controls advice to our Global Regions and help establish good internal controls around scales, scaling, scale houses, red flags associated with fiber receipts

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Forestry Management or Related Field

  • 5-8 years of Finance, Fiber Supply, or related experience

  • Preferred - Knowledge of Fiber Supply Processes

  • Preferred – Certified Fraud Examiner or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months of obtaining position

  • Demonstrated competencies: Action Oriented, Written/Oral Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management and Organizational Skills, Learning on the Fly
