Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our weekend night shift from 7:30pm to 7:30am. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out repairs to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including working with gears, bearings, and conveyor systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 480 3-phase motors, PLCs, and other electrical components.

• Experience in conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of equipment.

• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report maintenance activities.

• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and learn new technologies as needed.

• Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with other maintenance personnel and departments.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Willingness to work in various environmental conditions.

Work Environment

This role will be in a paper/press environment, requiring the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
