Job Title: CNC Operator (Building 3)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in a production environment focused on automotive and transportation-related components. The ideal candidate will operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring the smooth running and monitoring of a line of CNC machines. This role includes performing quality checks on parts using a Plug Gauge, Micrometer, and Calipers, as well as handling minor tool changes and daily preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor a line of 3-5 CNC machines.
Perform quality checks on parts using Plug Gauge, Micrometer, and Calipers.
Make necessary offsets and adjustments to the machines.
Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks, including basic cleaning, changing coolant/oil, and greasing.
Handle minor tool changes, such as changing an insert or bar in a lathe.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of CNC operating experience.
1 year of experience with quality tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Plug Gauge).
1 year of experience performing offsets and adjustments.
Strong attention to detail.
Understanding of decimals.
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment (which can still be hot near machines).
Steel-toe shoes required; all other PPE provided (ear plugs, safety glasses).

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled, though it can still get hot near the machines. Fans are provided to help with the heat. Steel-toe shoes are required, and all other personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs and safety glasses will be provided. Shifts are Friday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm, with training on Thursday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm.
