Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related field, or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Minimum of one year of laboratory experience (undergraduate research is acceptable). Experience with molecular techniques (e.g., cloning, protein purification). Aseptic techniques. Organized. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Willingness/ability to occasionally work odd hours (ie, transportation to do so).
