Develops new protocols, documents the protocols, and writes up results and protocols for publication. Coordinates multiple projects in both a leadership and support role, budgets time appropriately to balance multiple priorities. Essential Duties 100% Research: Perform image and data analysis using MATLAB and ImageJ, and summarize results by generating appropriate graphical output in Matlab or excel. Keep detailed records of all experiments and procedures. Write up protocols and results for publication. Draft, edit, and review manuscripts prior to publication. Conduct background literature research on relevant topics. Recognize a diversity of problem-solving skills and how they can lead to better solutions. Qualifications All Required Qualifications Must Be Documented In Application Materials. Required Qualifications Experience using MATLAB and ImageJ to perform quantitative image and data analysis. Proficient in interfacing MATLAB generated data with excel to produce graphical results. About the Department The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development comprises faculty from both the Medical School and the College of Biological Sciences.
