Bio-Techne Customer Care Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Position Summary:

The responsibilities of this position are to assist the DD OEM Accounts/Shipping Manager by performing related duties that include accepting OEM and Distributor orders and coordinating ship dates. Assist in writing and proofing Product Requests. Dealing with customers in a profession manner. Provide additional support for this clerical and record-keeping tasks involving order processing, filing, and billing of hematology products. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process orders from OEM, Distributors, Survey customer and coordinates ship dates

  • Primary point-of-contact to customer post-sale for non-technical problems and questions related to their order. Ensure customer’s needs and expectations regarding their order are met. Follow through with requests to completion or escalate when appropriate.

  • Coordinates Drop Shipments for OEM’s

  • Initiates complaints handling process

  • Contribute to the maintenance of lasting relationships with customers through knowledgeable communication and proactive resolution of questions or issues. Manage all aspects of order cycle as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Provide Activities Schedules for customer order planning.

  • Write or proof Product Requests per customer order

  • Monthly inventory

  • Oversees and assists in Credit/Rebills

  • Maintain professional relationship with customers

  • Support the Administrative team and Shipping Department

  • Collaborate with other Departments

  • Assist in Invoicing orders for OEM accounts, Survey customers and Distributors.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of experience and has the ability to complete tasks accurately and productively.

  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written, and a pleasant phone presence required.

  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable.

  • Knowledge of basic office equipment including Computers and Photocopiers are preferred.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
