Barnes & Thornburg LLP Patent Law Clerk (part-time) in Minneapo, Minnesota
Barnes & Thornburg LLP currently has a part-time school-term patent law clerk position available in the Intellectual Property Department of our Minneapolis, MN office. This position is open to any level law student 1L, 2L or 3L (excluding students who graduated in May 2024). Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in all aspects of patent prosecution and have a background in computer science. Seeking candidates with strong writing skills, excellent oral presentation, and an ability to get along with an established team of hard working, driven, and creative professionals. This position could start anytime and has the potential to run through the 2024-2025 Fall and Spring semesters.Hourly pay rate will be $50.00 per hour worked.Employees are eligible for paid time off and eligible to make 401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax contributions to the Profit Sharing Plan.Candidates should include a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and a copy of your law school transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable).Candidates identified to move forward in the interview process will be contacted directly to schedule an interview.Equal Opportunity Employer.
