Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace Defense & Systems Japan Lead Customer Order& Fulfillment Specialist acts as a key direct customer interface with various departments of the Japanese Ministry of Defense and Government Agencies, as well as other GE partners and customers in the Japanese Defense Industry. Reporting directly into the business leader for DJ and working closely with global Aviation Systems team.

The candidate will be responsible to be a part of 10% plus annual sales growth business via experience, expertise and proactive momentum to generate culture change.

Candidate is also responsible to monitor, maintain and report financial metrics that includes sales, cost and CFOA estimates.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Acts as focal point of contact and liaison for Aerospace Japan Systems with various departments of the Japanese Ministry of Defense and Government Agencies, as well as other GE partners and customers in the Japanese Defense Industry. Understand and anticipate customer requirements, and propose value-added solutions.

  • Supports Aerospace Japan Systems Sales/BD to create solid pipelines for future opportunities and ensure flawless ITO to OTR transition on existing businesses. Supports negotiation and problem resolution including quality, warranty, and contractual issues.

  • Works closely with Aerospace Japan Defense & Systems Leadership team to ensure the team is fulfilling financial, quality & compliance metrics. Provides timely and accurate PSI & CFOA estimates financial reports. Supports Aerospace Japan Defense & Systems transformation to be a proactive solution provider.

  • Drives Aerospace Japan culture change.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer support – Aircraft avionics and mechanical knowledge preferred but not essential.

  • Established record of successful customer relation skills

  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in both Japanese and English

  • Knowledge of Japanese Import/Export and customs regulation.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Established program planning, project management, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to effectively operate with minimal work direction.

  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately.
