JOB REQUIREMENTS: OE Customer Quality Manager - WD35944 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: OE Customer Quality Manager What you will do In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and leadership of Customer Quality Projects focused on battery quality for automotive OE Customers. Provide oversight on Quality projects ensuring customer expectations are properly captured and submissions comply with expectations How you will do it * The Customer Quality Manager supports the CBUs to understand the OE customer\'s strategic Quality Projects initiatives, identify resources, current gaps and project performance requirements. * The Customer Quality Manager is the functional liaison between the customer and Clarios; as well as the coordinator and contributor in leading the development of Customer Quality Project and proposals. * Manages the Customer Quality Projects scope and Statement of Work (SOW), including timeline, meeting key milestones, using critical path management including Customer Communication. * Plan and execute a robust risk management process to include identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, mitigation and contingency planning. Draft project plans mutually agreed by Clarios multi-functional team & customer to achieve Customer Quality Projects launch performance metrics and manage scope changes (internal & customer). * Manage execution and communications within Clarios functional areas (e.g. engineering / manufacturing, engineering/ sales) activities to assure timely resolution to customer quality project needs and concerns. * Plan & conduct Customer Quality Projects Reviews and Gate Reviews as planned, ensure participation by relevant sponsor and stakeholders, report summary program status on monthly basis (QOS) including timely Customer communication and updates. * Maintain organized Customer Quality Project History documentation. Ensure all documents and evidence are created, completed and filed. * Provide customer responses in a positive and professional manner per customer expectations. * Work with plants and cross functional teams in development of presentations required for customer report outs. * Effectively communicate in clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization. Drive accountability and motivate internal team to achieve desired results. * Support problem solving and input on preventative/corrective action. * Facilitate implementation of consistent plant read across actions. * Provide oversight and drive compliance to Customer Specification Requirements. Support scheduling and customer on-site visit /audits of manufacturing process.
