JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY This full-time position is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and supervisory management of the Department of Behavioral Health prevention and cultural programming. This position works in direct partnership with the Health Center community programming staff to establish an intergenerational approach to Health Center programming that includes health equity, inclusion, advocacy, cultural integration and staff support for the planning and facilitation of events and activities. This position reports directly to the Director of Behavioral Health. Roles & Responsibilities Provides operational leadership for the Department of Behavioral Health prevention and cultural programming to include the areas of violence prevention, suicide prevention, elder health, and cultural programming. Serves as key advisor to the Director of Behavioral Health and Clinical Directors to support and implement the strategic goals of the Department of Behavioral Health, including the Adult Therapy Clinic and the child and adolescent therapeutic services. Provides direct supervisory oversight of all staff on the Circles of Strength and cultural program teams to include workstream management oversight, consultation support, time and attendance, and timely responsiveness to health center policies and protocols. Engages in a collaborative work style that enables open and regular communication and coordination with all facets of the agency that incorporate culture program staff into their wellness programming. Works in partnership with the Deputy Director of Behavioral Health Grants Management & Community Programming to design and implement an intergenerational model of culturally integrated community-based programming that supports youth, adults and elders in prevention, culture, safety, access to care, advocacy and wellness. Provides co-leadership and supervisory oversight with the Deputy Director of BH Grants Management and Community Programming over the planning and facilitation of the Honoring the Heartbeat MH & Wellness Powwow. Works in partnership with the HPDP Program leads to streamline and support the cultural programming needs of those programs. Ensures proper coverage and schedules of all culture programming and staff commitments.
