Job Summary - Assist the Airport Maintenance Manager in the planning, directing, coordination and management of the maintenance and upkeep of County owned airports in the care of grounds, buildings, equipment, fixtures and facilities. Assist in the management of the Airport Maintenance Department including a staff of over 180 persons in various disciplines and trades in the performance of their 24 hour per day 356 days per year operation. Job Responsibilities - Assist with Management and direction of daily activities of Maintenance Dept - Assist with management and direction of the daily activities of the Airport Maintenance Department in a 24/7/365 operations through supervisors to include the care and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and airfield. This includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial and minor building repair, and construction projects.
