Accountant
A rapidly growing construction company in Spokane that does a lot of work with public entities is looking for the next Accountant/Bookkeeper superstar. Compensation for the Accountant
- $30 -$40 per hour
- Full Time Monday -- Friday

Responsibilities of the Accountant
- Month end processes, accruals, work in progress reports, sales tax, payroll taxes; journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Oversees all payroll functions, certified payroll and reporting of contracts.
- Prepares quarterly and annual tax reporting for multi-state payroll
- Assists with monthly project progress billing
Other accounting duties and oversight as needed
Requirements of the Accountant
- BA or AA in Accounting with at least 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Accounting/Bookkeeping
- All aspects of accounting for a small business -AR, AP, PR, GL, JE, FS
- QuickBooks expert. All aspects of QuickBooks -Desktop or Online
- Construction accounting with WIP and job costing
- Cash Flow report
- Multi State payroll and payroll tax and sales tax
- Certified payroll knowledge and Prevailing wage reporting
- Prefer Knowledge of construction industry
