nVent Business Development Manager Test & Measurement equipment (EMEA) in Milano, Italy

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
You will lead the development of the targeted strategic accounts/opportunities, by ensuring a strong network with OEMs as well as Integrators with a focus in the EMEA region. This role reports into the Global Vertical Leader and traveling time is encouraged (min.30%)across the dedicated region.
Identify industry trends and customer needs, building the pipeline following targets
Identify portfolio gaps and provide directions to Product Management to close them
Drive our value proposition so it fully resonates with external influencers and decision-makers and establishes us as the preferred solution partner
Influence the organization on how to sell our value to customers, while ensuring that our offering aligns with changing market requirements
Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and playbook
Maintain and share professional knowledge through reports, events, and presentations
Contribute to developing strategies and collaborate with both, regional and global team
YOU HAVE:
An Engineering or Business Degree with a strong Commercial orientation is preferred
Ideally, 5+ years experience, possessing in-depth knowledge of trends, buying process, competitors, and key buying criteria within test & measurement markets
Successful track record in growing business based on expertise in selling, great communications skills, and new business development exposure
Strong communicator (also with a broader audience), networker, and phenomenal teammate!
You demonstrate a hunter attitude and strong analytical skills!
Proficiency in English and at least other 2 European languages (among German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian)
