Description

As Display Buyer, in alignment with the company's group values, the employee will be in contact with several account teams and with the approved supplier base, to ensure optimal sourcing and buying within a specific product category. The objective is to aim to reach operational excellence, in line with the company's procurement strategies set out by the Category Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

Research and select quality products and materials for different Displays.

  • Build good relationship with international suppliers, and negotiate with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales.

  • Work closely with suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

  • Carry out price benchmarking.

  • Along with the Production Department, is responsible to monitor productions, order management.

  • Book and manage quality assurance and quality control activities.

  • Daily contact with the various account teams and support them with issue resolution.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as Sourcing, Operations, QA and Logistics.

  • Provides weekly status update reports to the Buying Manager.

  • Other tasks/responsibilities relevant for the Buyer position.

  • Excellent IT and computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • English language at medium-advanced level is mandatory, other European languages or Chinese is a plus.

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principle is advantageous, commercials mindset.
