Robert Half HR Generalist in Midlothian, Texas

Description We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Midlothian, Texas. In this role, you will focus on enhancing employee relations and developing retention strategies within a food and beverage manufacturing facility. You will also have the opportunity to interact regularly with employees, conduct exit interviews, and manage HR records.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective employee relations programs and retention strategies to improve employee engagement

• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with employees regularly, being a visible and approachable presence in the facility

• Collect employee feedback for improvements and address their concerns

• Conduct exit interviews to understand reasons for employee turnover and develop action plans to address common issues

• Ensure compliance with all employee laws and regulations, providing advice to management on legal and policy matters related to employee relations

• Manage internal communications, ensuring all employees are informed of company news, updates, and HR initiatives

• Support in the planning and execution of company events and team-building activities

• Handle administration of action items and follow-ups from meetings

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and compliance requirements

• Resolve workplace conflicts and handle employee grievances in a confidential and effective manner

• Manage the HR records and database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as an HR Generalist

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Ability to ensure Compliance with laws and regulations

• Strong skills in Employee Relations

• Experience with Dayforce software is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Strong decision-making ability and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field

• Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus.
