Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Production Operator with a keen eye for detail. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and switching jobs as required, performing tasks efficiently within standard time allotment, tracking materials in the area, and performing minor maintenance on machines. You will also be tasked with maintaining an excellent attendance record, verifying the conformity of all parts before signing off on traveler, and tracking all scrap while seeking corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining all inspection gauges and tooling as required, and functioning effectively within a team environment. You will be running parts from bin, following SOP's, loading parts and materials, running machines to create pieces, performing quality checks, and documenting basic findings.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in MIDDLETOWN, New York.

Work Environment

You will be working during the Weekend Warrior Day Shift, operating 4-5 pieces of equipment at a time throughout the production and machine department. Reporting will be directly to the EDM Lead/Supervisor and the Operations Manager. On your first day and beyond, you are required to wear safety shoes (either steel toe or composite), and the dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a long sleeve shirt. Note that cell phones are not allowed on the floor, and there is a 10% differential on the Night shift.
