POSITION PURPOSE

The Applications Administrator will report to the AVP of Strategic Business Operations. This critical role is responsible for setting up, configuring, and optimizing the organization's strategic applications, including (but not limited to) Online Banking (iBanking), Core Banking (COCC INSIGHT), HFCU intranet, Identifi Document Management, Interface.ai ("Hope"), and online eSign systems. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that our central operating systems are maximized in support of current and future strategic initiatives. The Administrator will also be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and encouraging feature adoption. This will include upgrade validations, administration of the Credit Union’s Contact Management/Sales Tracking tools, and the implementation of new optional modules. Additionally, this position will streamline enterprise workflows to enhance efficiency and foster cross-departmental collaboration, reducing reliance on manual processes such as paper-based tasks, eRequests, and emails. This role is vital for ensuring the high performance and continuous improvement of our strategic applications, directly contributing to the organization's operational excellence and strategic objectives, as well as the betterment and maintenance of the member experience.

Salary Range:$68,421 - $85,527 annually, depending on experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Application Setup and Configuration:Set up and configure strategic applications, including Online Banking (iBanking), Core Banking (INSIGHT/Fiserv DNA), Identifi Document Management, Interface.ai ("Hope"), and other critical systems. Implement best practices for system configurations to optimize performance.

2.Ownership:Take ownership of all facets of the Credit Union's strategic applications to ensure they meet business needs and provide excellent member service.

3.System Upgrades:Validate and manage software upgrades and enhancements for strategic applications. Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to schedule and test upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

4.Workflow Optimization:Streamline enterprise workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.

5.Feature Implementation:Manage the implementation of new features and add-ons for strategic applications. Gather requirements from stakeholders, prioritize new features, and oversee the deployment process to ensure alignment with business goals.

6.Collaboration:Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless integration of applications. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and support organizational objectives.

7.Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and supports continuity of operations.

8.Issue Resolution:Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues promptly. Maintain a log of issues and resolutions to identify trends and prevent future problems.

9.Performance Monitoring:Collaborate with the operations team to monitor application performance. Implement improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and member satisfaction.

10.Intranet Management:Administer and maintain the intranet, ensuring it is up-to-date and effective. Develop and update intranet content to support organizational goals and enhance internal communication.

11.Identifi Online eSign and Document Management:Manage online eSign processes to ensure secure and efficient document handling. Maintain eSign workflows to streamline document approvals and reduce processing time.

12.Contact Management and Sales Tracking:Oversee the administration of the Credit Union’s Contact Management and Sales Tracking tools to enhance member relationships and support business development.

13.Digital Member Experience:Enhance the digital member experience by optimizing online account opening processes, personal financial management tools, and other digital services. Identify and implement improvements to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.

14.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Review data files to ensure the integrity of data collection and utilization. Monitor analytics and metrics results to provide actionable insights.

15.Vendor Partnership:Partner with vendors on new tools and products to enhance strategic applications. Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels are met and applications are effectively supported.

16.Professional Development:Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. Recommend changes to workflow, efficiencies, and quality processes. Assist with the implementation of changes to workflows. Help track and analyze process improvement benefits after changes are implemented.

17.Innovation and Strategy:Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance the credit union’s strategic applications and digital services.

18.Additional Duties:Complete monthly tasks and reports as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

4-year college degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience and requisite technical skills may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Knowledge:

Strong understanding of systems administration, particularly in a financial or banking context. Knowledge of security policies and regulatory requirements related to banking applications.

Experience Required:

Three to five years’ experience in the credit union industry or financial sector, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Skills/Abilities:
