NATUS MEDICAL Quality Assurance Technician in MIDDLETON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Quality Technician Onsite Role:3150 Pleasant View Road, Middleton, WI 53562 Shift:Day Pay:\$22/hour to start! As a TEAMMATE: TheQuality Assurance Technicianis a crucial team member responsible for DeviceHistory Record review, Incoming Inspection, and other quality-related activities associated with manufacturing.In this role you will help keep our primary North American hub of operations flowing smoothly. What you\'ll get to do in this role: Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers Ensure Device History Records (DHR) comply with requirements per the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP\'s). Activities include filing and retrieving DHR\'s Responsible for off-site record retention and disposal Maintain familiarity with appropriate regulations/standards relative to medical device design, engineering and distribution (i.e. ISO 13485, FDA Part 21 820, Medical Device Directive/Medical Device Regulation, etc.) Document and initiate corrective/preventive when applicable Assist with quality audits per procedure to maintain compliance with internal and domestic standards Have the responsibility and authority for the acceptance or rejection of product that does not meet requirements Assist with quality processes and documentation improvements Conduct regular incoming and outgoing inspections Responsible for assisting with Nonconforming products Able to work independently and as a team What we are looking for: One year certificate from college or technical school is a plus; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience ASQ certifications are a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Windowsand Excel Able to coach personnel regarding quality Good Documentation Practices in a kind manner Understanding of, or ability to grasp medical terminology and equipment is also essential Compensation and Benefits:Along with a competitive salary and bonus structure, we offer a comprehensive benefit package to start: Health Benefits, 401k contribution, 7 paid holidays + 2 floaters, and 4 weeks PTO (hours accrued) and more!
