Our client in the chemical industry is seeking a Process R&D Engineer to join their team. As a Process R&D Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting plant operations at our Miamisburg, OH location. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process R&D Engineer

Location: Miamisburg, OH

What's the Job?

• Support operations including regular review for ongoing productivity, efficiency, and safety.

• Proactively identify process operating problems and opportunities for improvements and develop solutions. Proactively interact with plant and R&D personnel to identify problems and opportunities.

• Design and develop the equipment model for gas chemical reactions and evaluate hazards.

• Investigate alternative technology available to solve problems or provide advantages.

• Manage project schedule and costs against schedule and identify deviations to customer and management in a timely manner.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors in chemical engineering or process engineering or other equivalent engineering field with 5+ years of experience in a chemical industry.

• Masters in chemical engineering or process engineering or other equivalent engineering field with 3+ years of experience in a chemical industry.

• PhD in chemical engineering or process engineering or other equivalent engineering field (preferred).

• Experience with stable isotopes.

• Experience with gas handling chemical facility.
