We are offering a unique employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Miami, Florida. The role is based onsite and involves working closely with our finance and accounting team, leveraging your expertise in analysis, advanced Excel, and Power BI. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing the chance to greatly influence our financial decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support

• Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews

• Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

• Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

• Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses

• Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

• Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

• Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in many job descriptions, and familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely beneficial.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Finance or Accounting

• Proficiency with Power BI

• Advanced Excel

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Proficiency in Expense Reporting

• 2-3 years of analysis experience or internship
