Job Description

One of our prominent accounting clients is looking for a Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Corporate Tax Manager to join their Corporate Tax team in Miami, FL or Jacksonville, FL. This individual will manage client relationships and oversee service delivery across business income tax, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting. With the support of our Washington National Tax Office and a suite of advanced tools and training, you'll collaborate with experts to drive all aspects of tax functions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee client engagements from inception to completion, ensuring tax projects are executed within budget.

• Lead and develop team members, including senior associates and interns, through supervision, training, and performance assessment.

• Proactively seek and secure opportunities for service expansion among current and prospective clients.

• Perform quality control by reviewing tax returns, advising on best practices, and identifying tax-saving possibilities.

• Manage the primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.

• Provide expert tax research and consultation; proficient in the use of tax software for return preparation and processing.

• Handle correspondence with tax authorities, including the IRS and state agencies.

• Foster strong client relationships, understanding their business to deliver tailored tax services.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance expertise.

• Uphold the utmost professional standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Execute additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and client needs.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• Experience working at a Big4, Top10, or Top20 firm

• 4+ years of tax compliance/consulting experience

• Active CPA, EA, or actively pursuing to get CPA

• Proficient in corporate income tax and ASC 740

• Skilled in US GAAP, tax laws, and regulations

• Knowledgeable in state/local taxes, international taxation, and transfer pricing

• Excellent client service and communication abilities

• Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to travel as necessary - OneSource Tax Provision experience is a plus

• Bilingual in Spanish null
