Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

• Generate and send out invoices to customers.

• Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.

• Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Verify discrepancies by reconciling accounts and resolving clients' billing issues.

• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or a similar role (1-2 years preferred).

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.

• Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
