Job Description

  • Ensure an appropriate and continuous supply of finished goods to the customers in the country as per their demand in a timely manner, including S&OP, supply planning, local repackaging, launch or transfer processes.

  • Establish an empowered, direct, and non-bureaucratic planning team and culture within the organization which thinks and acts as part of the end-to-end value chain.

  • Support the supply process setting up KPIs and measuring service across the chain.

  • Pro-actively monitor and predict market, business environment, quality/regulatory, GTC and technical changes and adapt supply models accordingly.

  • Work with global planners (GSP) when needed to ensure correct execution.

  • Shipment plan execution’s follow-up from CDCs/manufacturing sites to the affiliate, working closely with Global Transportation to anticipate and mitigate any supply disruptions.

  • Owner of the local rework process: lead, plan and coordinate the execution of the labelling and packaging process.

  • Responsible for the local commodities vendor, SAP set up, qualifications etc.

  • Purchase and manage the inventory of commodities for rework/subcontracting activities.

  • Owner of the Material Master Data for the affiliate: creation, control, and update (when required) engaging other stakeholders involved in the process to make sure all steps are completed.

  • Ensure the proper use of all Supply Chain systems/tools in Abbvie (SAP, JDA, IVIS, QS, MODS, etc)

  • Support and lead specific regional initiatives, aligned with the CoE blueprint and responsible for the Supply simplification initiatives (savings, efficiencies, green initiatives).

  • Responsible to check and request updates on any supply chain set-up parameters (DTS, SS, MOQ)

  • Generate reports related to Supply Chain.

  • Provide effective communication within the business community on demand and supply signals and effectively manage demand and inventory during bottlenecks and supply constraints.

  • Participate and support global initiatives such as collaborative planning, air to road, bottleneck management activities, portfolio life cycle management, etc.

  • Challenge, align and apply supply parameter policies within the country based on global and local policies.

  • To manage inventories, ensuring best practices are followed and appropriate trade-offs are made in setting safety stock levels according with the company policies and guidelines.

  • Share best practices across the Region and look for improvement opportunities (benchmark, projects, etc.)

  • Assure alignment and compliance with all internal procedures and policies (Finance, Compliance, etc) in the corresponding Areas of responsibility.

  • Manage supply chain-related costs, ensuring that best practices are followed, and competitive rates and productivity are maintained.

  • Perform activities in line with global and local financial policies, review on a regular basis inbound delivery, outbound deliveries (returned goods), inventory by product and resolve discrepancies and returns.

  • Control and understand all Logistics systems (parameters, costs, restrictions) and optimization tools.

  • Review upcoming volumes, product launches and future capacity needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-6 years of Logistics/Supply chain experience

  • Proficient in English: advance

  • Customer focus

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Individual must be self-motivated with great follow-up skills and be able to work independently.

  • Strong Supply and Logistics Know-how.

  • Accounting Fundamentals

  • Continuous Improvement /Lean manufacturing fundamentals

  • Analytical and conceptual skills around data management.

  • Data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.

  • People Management & Development

  • Business Process, Corporate Policy (compliance & completeness)

  • Analytical and cost analysis

  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare or Consumer supply chain experience preferred.
