A.T. Still University ATSU - Post-Award Assistant Director (Hybrid) in Mesa, Arizona
Description
A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time exempt post-award assistant director. The post-award assistant director will work with the director of post-award compliance and management to ensure that all funded projects -- across all of ATSU's schools/units -- meet programmatic, fiscal, and reporting requirements. This position may be eligible for telecommute work based on approval and departmental needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in funding source and OMB Uniform Administrative Guidance training.
Support PIs/PDs and post-award project managers in the discharge of programmatic, compliance, and reporting duties.
Ensure ATSU policies, procedures, and internal controls are met.
Organizing, coordinating, and streamlining University-wide post-award reporting (narrative, financial, and statistical/data reports).
Managing and tracking sub-contracts/sub-awards; etc.
Collaborate with internal service departments and operations teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
College degree required.
Should have experience with (1) grants/project management, program development, budgeting/accounting, technical writing, proofreading/editing; (2) in a highly productive and sometimes stressful environment; (3) working for/with several people/projects simultaneously; (4) working independently and in a team environment; and (5) with managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
Familiarity with higher education/academic medicine, and healthcare/research environment is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills are mandatory.
The position also requires keen organizational tasking to improve department systems.
Daily duties require excellent software knowledge/capability (MS Word, Excel, Access, Gmail, etc.) as well as a high proficiency in conducting research via the Internet.
