We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Senior Software Engineer to join our New Hampshire team. We are actively seeking experienced Software Engineers with a minimum of four years of experience and a range of skills. The Software Engineer will apply her/his skills to developing high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site . This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing software and DevSecOps pipelines for classified programs.

• Duties include analyzing, designing, coding and code modification (typically in Ada and C ) of complex software designs for simple systems or subsystems or subsystems of larger systems.

• You will be evaluating complex software designs to identify design flaws.

• You will be preparing design documentation, in accordance with established processes.

• You will utilize either a Windows or Linux based software development environment. Embedded targets could range from ARM through high performance x86-64 CPUs and Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). You will be integrating and testing in the selected target test environments.

• You may participate in external project interactions with other companies.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• US Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance

• Bachelor s Degree or higher in a computer related field with at least 4 years of experience

• Working knowledge of DevOps or DevSecOps using container technologies

• Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation

• High-level Object-Oriented language proficiency (e.g. C , Ada, etc.)

• Experience using scripting languages, such as Python

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills that translate to working software

• Proficient with source code control tools

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Secret Clearance (active within the last two years)

• Experience with Modern C is a plus

• Experience with Ada is a plus

• Experience with Real-time Embedded Software Development

• Experience with Agile Development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience developing on Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems

• Experience using software tools like Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, GitLab

• Experience with Containers including Docker, Podman or Kubernetes.

• Software automated test development and execution

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
