Adecco is now hiring for a Customer Care Specialist (Import/Export) in Media, PA!
$25/hour
Shift : 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm Mon-Fri ( after 90 day temp period, 1 day remote! )
Contract : Temp to hire
Role Overview
The Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers. This role involves providing timely and effective information, solutions, and responses to customer requests and concerns. The specialist acts as the customer advocate, collaborating with the US Operational Care Center and international Customer Care locations to ensure customer satisfaction and fulfillment of the Customer Promise.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver proactive advice and consultancy to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualify and process customer orders efficiently within the operational workflow.
Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Aid in the development and maintenance of customer relationships.
Work closely with branch and area management, as well as Sea Logistics operations (OCC), to enhance the customer experience.
Prevent additional costs and expenses due to internal service failures.
Acquire knowledge of client products
Incorporate and transfer customer requirements into KN systems, updating business and customer profiles.
Maintain and integrate customer data within internal systems.
Refine and review customer-requested reports generated from internal systems.
Care for and follow up on initial orders, documenting customer feedback.
Actively participate in regular team community-based activities.
Engage in self-development.
Skills and Experience
Highly preferred 2-3 years of freight forwarding experience , ideally in Sea Logistics.
Knowledge of client's in-house systems (CIEL, SALOG, ACON, etc) is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn all aspects of the team’s work, with a desire to provide cover and assistance regularly.
Efficiency and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication skills.
Customer-focused with a proactive attitude.
Aspiration to advance within the team and demonstrate the ability to take on additional responsibilities over time.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
