Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to join our team. In this role, you will plan, layout, and perform operations pertaining to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of complicated electrical equipment and circuitry. This includes the maintenance and repair of electric motors, digital drives, high voltage circuits, and electrical control panels. You will also be responsible for installing and repairing various types of electronic equipment, including PLC programs. This role demands a hands-on approach to maintaining and installing electric services in the plant buildings, new equipment installation, and troubleshooting electrical breakdowns. Additionally, you will perform machine changeovers and preventative maintenance through work orders on plant equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Understanding of AC/DC current 100, 200, 480, and 2300 V circuitry

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment. The plant is a Class 1, Division 1 rating, working in a dirty and dusty environment, where potential dust explosions could occur. The plant also has 70 feet silos that one may be required to go up in. The pay rate will be based on experience and job class, with a starting pay of $37.21 BASE, and includes a shift differential. Weekend shifts are time + half for Saturday and Sundays, and pay is biweekly. There's a $3000 sign-on bonus! The role will involve a 70% electrical and 30% mechanical troubleshooting breakdown. Safety is a huge priority for us, and you will be taken through safety orientations and training. There is a 90-day probationary period, and training will most likely be on daylight hours for anywhere from one to six months, depending on how long it takes to pick up on duties.
