This position reports to the E-2D Mission Computers and Displays (MCD), Trusted Mission Processing product line.

What You Will Do

• As the Program Manager (PM)/Value Stream Leader (VSL) will be responsible for leading mission-driven programs that provide development, deployment, and support of fielded systems in support of the E-2D Aircraft.

• You will be managing the spares/repairs business within the portfolio. E-2D programs require a VSL with excellent customer-facing and communication skills, someone who is able to work competing customer priorities, and has the ability to translate development/support requirements from overarching customer mission goals.

• You will The PM/VSL position is responsible for the execution of programs from inception to completion within the E-2D programs.

• You will be responsible for profit and loss of the programs. Additionally, the VSL will have responsibilities to develop and support the execution of product line overall growth strategy associated with an approved pursuit effort to increase the win probability of new and existing projects.

• You will travel domestically approximately 20% percent of the time.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Minimum of 8+ years of related or similar experience with minimum of 2 years of Program related experience.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

• Must have proven leadership experience for developing/coaching direct reports

• Experience in risk assessment (both operational and Programmatic), risk mitigation, cost account estimation, cost management, schedule management, and on-contract growth.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Minimum 2 years of Program Management or related work experience demonstrating a wide-ranging Program Leadership.

• Experienced with leading a multi-functional team from proposal generation through contract award / completion including experience managing cost, schedule and technical aspects of a program.

• Experience presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures such as IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC is required.

• Working knowledge of PM best practices and processes to include capture management, proposal preparation

• Experienced with leading team from proposal generation through contract award / completion including experience managing cost, schedule and technical aspects of a program.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
