Description Barnes has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced P & L Leader to lead its ASRaymond facilities globally. This role will have division manager responsibility for the Maumee, OH location. As the General Manager, you will play an integral role in leading and directing the global teams to successfully execute the business goals and objectives for profitable, sustainable growth. In addition to executing key business initiatives, the right candidate should be focused on continuous improvement with a proven track record of meeting customer expectations, evaluating cost/benefit analysis and display an orientation toward profitability. Through effective employee engagement and empowerment, you will ensure alignment of 'people and process' through a proactive leadership style and approach. Core Responsibilities: P&L leadership of a global consolidated division while being site leader of the local location. Balance sheet stewardship for the consolidated division with particular focus on working capital improvement (inventory turns and inventory management), on time deliver and operational efficiency. Empowers teams with a leadership/management style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in approach to achieve commitments. Identifies, leverages, and shares best practices across the businesses as appropriate. Responsible for the performance, overall development, and operation of the defined locations. Leads the facility with a results driven framework, focused on safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement to meet customer demand and business goals. Formulates and recommends key business strategies/programs, to guide/direct the location in establishing, maintaining, and improving its competitive position and profitability in the marketplace. Drives the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet the needs of the customer today and in the future. Responsible for managing distribution centers inclusive of process improvement with expertise in shipping and receiving, inventory and warehouse management, quality control, automation and visual management. Leads, models, and drives the Barnes Growth vectors, FMC strategic themes and values to drive transformation efforts by holding teams accountable in an fair and equitable manner. Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure the implementation of the robust Next Generation future state strategy. Plans, leads, and directs within the established operating metrics/goals. Effectively integrates assembly, supply chain, quality and engineering functions ensuring processes result in high quality throughput. Operates as a strong team leader and team builder focused on generating results through collaboration, influence and relationship building as much as direct line authority.
