Wyandot Snacks Sales - Customer Service Representative in Marion, Ohio

JOB SUMMARY:

Professionally manage customer orders and resolve problems that arise with order fulfillment.  * *

*RESPONSIBILITIES:  *The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency, and engage the customer if there are any issues that need resolved.  Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.  

*DUTIES:  *

  1. Receive daily orders placed by customers, brokers, and salesmen, via fax, e-mail, and EDI. 
  2. Prepare and enter orders into the system and provide confirmation to the customer. Verify all purchase orders to confirm quantity, pricing, minimum requirements, etc.
  3. Schedule pickup appointments with freight companies as directed by the customer.
  4. Determine the quickest, most effective way to resolve customer issues by discussing with Customer Service Supervisor and responding back to the customer in a timely manner.
  5. Responsible for setting up new customers and keeping their information up to date   
  6. Troubleshoot shipping errors and delivery problems and promptly advise customer.
  7. []{#_Hlk101272620}Document all customer complaints and work with other departments to find an appropriate solution.  Quickly resolve and provide resolution to the customer.
  8. Professional communication via telephone and email.
  9. Awareness of Period End sales numbers generated by customer Pos and commitment to shipping on time/in full.
  10. Communicate to leadership on any anticipated challenges in achieving Period End sales numbers.
  11. Fill POs with product in inventory in the event of production shortages.
  12. Work closely with production planning to ensure the production plan allows for order fulfillment on time.
  13. Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  14. Knowledge of our products so questions can be appropriately answered.
  15. Update a daily aged inventory report and disperse to departments in a timely manner.
  16. Performs other duties as assigned. 

*WORK ENVIRONMENT:  *

Detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills are a must.  Process orders, prepare correspondence and fulfill customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.  Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.  High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
