Machining Engineer, Marion, AR, Automotive Manufacturing Job Description

As a Machining Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of CNC Mills, tooling, and gauging. Your tasks will include sequencing operations, considering ergonomic factors, ensuring efficient material flow, supporting productivity enhancements, and analyzing production data for root cause analysis. You will provide technical direction and oversight to both external vendors and internal teams, troubleshooting urgent and complex machining issues. Additionally, you will support training initiatives, monitor tool life, and collaborate with tooling vendors to trial new technologies aimed at reducing costs and enhancing quality. You'll be expected to maintain CNC machining processes, troubleshoot machining operations, and understand metal working and fixturing.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marion, Arkansas.
