Position: Program Coordinator 1
Location: MST Remote
Duration: Contract to hire
Pay-Rate: \$24.75/Hr. on W2
Assist in activities related to the medical and psychosocial aspects of utilization and coordinated care.
Initiate authorization requests for output or input services in keeping with the prior authorization list.
Research claims inquiry specific to the department and responsibility.
Perform tasks necessary to promote member compliance such as: (answering incoming calls, conduct intake surveys, refer relevant services as it applies to the caller and follow up with vendors).
Screen for eligibility and benefits.
Coordinate services with community-based organizations.
Data enter assessments and authorizations into the system.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years managed care setting, medical office or facility setting with demonstration of medical administration duties
Knowledge of medical terminology
Bi-Lingual Candidate (Spanish)
Preferred:
Providing referrals for Medicare is a huge PLUS, one of the largest struggles is new hires not understanding which referrals are appropriate for the given situation
Referral knowledge or experience, providing referrals.
Someone with tenue, how long they have been with their last employer.
List qualifications, what programs have they used? Wants this person to be able to be a multi-tasker. (Citrix, Microsoft, Teams, Excel)
