The Boudrose Lounge Cocktail Server in Manistique, Michigan

Job Summary:

As a cocktail server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, delivering beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers to maintain a high standard of service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers warmly and take drink orders in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Memorize and be knowledgeable about the cocktail menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  3. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  4. Check identification to verify customers' age and ensure legal drinking age compliance.
  5. Upsell additional drinks and menu items to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
  6. Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed and alerting management of low stock levels.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, cleaning glasses, and disposing of trash.
  8. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and returning change promptly.
  9. Anticipate and address customer needs, providing recommendations and assistance as required.
  10. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the establishment.
  11. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of glassware and adherence to alcohol service guidelines.
  12. Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning of the bar area.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  2. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure.
  5. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating orders.
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure during busy periods.
  7. Knowledge of cocktails and alcoholic beverages preferred.
  8. Must be of legal drinking age and able to obtain any required certifications or licenses.
  9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay: $15.00 per hour plus tips
