Hunts Maintenance and Services Cleaning Technician in Manistique, Michigan

Hunt's Maintenance & Services is looking for a full-time person to work in Manistique and Escanaba with reimbursement for mileage. This position is scheduled to begin July 1, 2024.

Wages are $16/hour to start with a review after the probationary period.

Position Summary:

The Cleaning Technician at Hunts Maintenance and Service is a crucial member of our team responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our clients. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work independently while following established cleaning protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cleaning Operations
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, office spaces, and common areas to established standards.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  1. Product and Equipment Use:
  • Safely and effectively use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  1. Quality and Efficiency
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Report any issues or deficiencies to a supervisor promptly.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ahere to company policies and industry regulations related to cleaning procedures and safety.
  1. Client Interaction
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and their employees.
  • Respond to client requests and concerns promptly and appropriately.
  1. Inventory Management
  • Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized supply cart or area.
  1. Documentation:
  • Complete required documentation, such as cleaning logs and checklists, accurately and on time.

Report any incidents, accidents or issues to the supervisor as required.
