Robert Half Financial Analyst in Manchester, New Hampshire
Description The ideal candidate for this position is a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. You're a good fit for this position, if you enjoy working as part of a team. Robert Half is working with a thriving company to find a skilled Financial Analyst. This Financial Analyst position will require the candidate to execute financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This role via Robert Half provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management with fellow colleagues. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Manchester, New Hampshire, is a permanent employment opportunity.

Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations
Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Produce and manage forecasting reports
Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting
Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process Requirements - Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Experience with Profit and loss
Proven knowledge of forecasting
Cost analysis experience
Foundational knowledge in variance analysis
Well-founded grasp of pricing analysis
Proficiency in financial analysis
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
