The Lux Companies are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with experience with posting, coding and paying vendor invoices, recording and coding credit card expenses for multiple accounts and reconciling multiple credit card account statements. The person in this critical role will process a high volume of accounts payable transactions in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner for multiple companies. The Accounts Payable Specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on the financial success of our companies, and on maintaining great relationships with our vendors.
Responsibilities
- Support the companies in optimizing our financial transactions by performing reconciliation of payments and vendor accounts
- Assist in streamlining the accounts payable process by identifying areas for performance improvement
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices and code expenses to correct GL accounts and customer jobs
- Maintain excellent relationships with our vendors
Skills and qualifications
- Ability to process a high volume of transactional work accurately and efficiently
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to reconcile GL accounts
- Superb time management and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and vendors
