ATCC Inventory Control Technician in Manassas, Virginia

The Inventory Control Technician plays a pivotal role in maintaining optimal inventory levels throughout the production cycle, ensuring organizational needs are met. Responsible for executing inventory transactions in the company's ERP system and performing daily control tasks, they contribute to the seamless flow of materials to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management Support: Responsible for assisting internal business functions regarding inventory management and associated transactions in the ERP system, including troubleshooting, research, and creation of new inventory locations.
Inventory Auditing and Reconciliation: Support the Inventory Auditing Program by processing cycle count results, investigating discrepancies, and performing cycle counts and recounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
Inventory Replenishment and Optimization: Process inventory replenishment requests from global consignment inventory warehouses, transact inventory transfer orders in the ERP system, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain proper inventory levels, optimize accuracy, and identify process improvements.
Qualifications
High School diploma and 2-5 years' experience.
PC competence including MS Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and an ability to learn other applications.
Experience with data entry on a companywide enterprise-based system (ERP/MRP).
Knowledge of methods to handle, process, store, and retrieve biological specimens using a computerized storage and retrieval system.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and have strong organizational skills.
Ability to work with temperature sensitive materials.
