Are you an experienced supply chain leader with a strong focus on logistics? Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D is seeking a Director Logistics, Biologics and Advanced Therapies to join the Clinical Supply Chain, part of Therapeutics Development and Supply (TDS). You will have the outstanding opportunity to lead the global logistics strategy and logistics operations for Biologics and Advanced Therapies. With our commitment to innovation and teamwork, you will play a crucial role in developing flawless supply chain processes.

We are seeking a Supply Chain professional who will report to the Sr Director Logistics. As part of this role, you will be responsible for shaping our global storage and shipping strategy, network and operations.

You will lead all aspects of internal warehouse operations and management of 3PLs, spearhead the implementation of warehouse and shipping technologies, establish and enforce process standards for storage and distribution worldwide, and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and sustainability. The successful candidate will possess a strategic vision, operational expertise, and a dedication to using advanced technology and industry-leading processes to improve performance.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s or advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Distribution or Transportation.

  • Minimum of 3 years of business process and organizational design, engineering, or optimization experience.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and technologies with emphasis in Distribution, Warehousing and Transportation for pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain business processes/requirements is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result.

  • Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders.

  • Project management experience.

  • People management demonstrated experience.

  • Experience designing, developing, implementing a business process improvement.

  • Experience with implementing and/or using software solutions (ERP/SAP, WMS, TMS)

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to influence.

  • APICS CPIM or CLTD certification is an asset

  • 5 years of people management experience, in a global context as well as working with contingent workers
