Schedule: Full Time/Days (M-F) (8AM-5PM)

The role you’ll contribute:

The Research Compliance Analyst assists with implementation of the Research Compliance Program of the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI) by conducting compliance research, reviewing and synthesizing regulations and industry publications, assisting with the development of training materials and other department guidance documents. This role gives input in the risk assessment of the Research Compliance Program and assists with research compliance related inquiries and investigations. The Research Compliance Analyst will operate independently conducting regular, ad hoc, and for-cause audits to monitor compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, guidance, and international standards, as well as AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI) Policies & Procedures related to responsible study conduct and the safety and protection of human subjects participating in research. The Research Compliance Analyst will provide a report of findings, assist in Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) plan development, and follow up to ensure the study team resolves all findings and completes the CAPA adequately. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Works collaboratively with ORI Director and managers to identify, prioritize, schedule and coordinate compliance reviews to be conducted.

  • Prepares and executes project plans and steps related to the improvement of the Research Compliance Program, and the annual Research Compliance Risk Assessment initiatives, and other special projects.

  • Provides guidance and serves as a resource to AHRI research departments and individual research team members regarding issues related to ORI P&Ps, and research regulatory and GCP compliance.

  • Offers input and assists in the ongoing risk assessment of the AdventHealth Research Institute and the ORI compliance program effectiveness.

  • Facilitates and promotes activities to foster effective communication and information deployment regarding ORI Policies and Procedures (P&Ps), and research regulatory and GCP compliance awareness within AHRI. May assist with ORI educational presentations related to research compliance topics.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate degree in healthcare (administration or research related field); OR

  • Documented equivalent work experience in healthcare, clinical research, or related fie

  • Five (5) years or more of work experience in clinical research (clinical trials), or grants (pre-award or post-award).
