Description We are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in the consumer products industry in Mahwah, New Jersey. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for daily bank reconciliation, recording journal entries and intercompany transactions, and maintaining a strong accounting foundation. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all transactions per banking portal and company activity are recorded and reconciled daily

• Record journal entries for daily activity and ensure they are accurate

• Use NetSuite for various accounting activities, requiring a technically savvy individual with a strong accounting background

• Record intercompany transactions and ensure they reconcile between entities

• Maintain a strong accounting foundation and demonstrate proficiency in Excel

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare journal entries and complete the month-end close process

• Use Oracle and QuickBooks for various accounting functions

• Perform account reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in maintaining and managing the General Ledger.

• Able to prepare and post Journal Entries accurately.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Ability to utilize NetSuite CRM for various accounting functions.

• Proficient in using Excel Formulas for financial calculations and data analysis.

• Proven ability in Account Reconciliation.
