JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Oncology, Breast Center - 31858 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 90% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday with hours between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends. No holidays. No call. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the University Hospital located in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: * Deliver compassionate, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for all breast patients through comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care. * Work in partnership with breast cancer patients and families through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. * Provide patient education and coordinate care for patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions. * Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologist, radiologist, radiation oncologist and advanced practice providers. * Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage. Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience. Preferred - Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.
