JOB REQUIREMENTS: Distribution Service Specialist Job Locations US-WI-Madison ID 2024-2089 Category Other Type Regular Full-Time Overview Quartz is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and self-driven individual to join and support our Distribution Services Unit as our Distribution Services Specialist (DSS) at Quartz. This role will serve as the driving force in providing exceptional deliverance of all outbound correspondence to internal and external customers. Also, this position will be responsible for pulling reports, performs claims preparation, completes verification data entry, keys member information, performs scanning and profiling, has multiple responsibilities for mailing services and ensuring that all proper procedures are followed according to company guidelines. Benefits: Build strong relationships working on a small, close-knit, collaborative team Position offers variety in work and opportunity to work independently Work schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Work will take place on-site from our office in Madison, WI The starting pay rate for this role is \$20.00/hr. plus robust benefits package Responsibilities Open, sort, prepare, and scan claims and reports as well as applications and reconsideration cases. Distribute incoming and internal mail to appropriate departments which includes presorting and posting of mail. Print and mail explanations of benefits, new and renewal member packet information, other volume mailing requests as requested by departments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in data entry, proofing, and verification Basic knowledge of mailroom equipment Basic knowledge of personal computer software applications and general office procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills, including handling questions from departments within a timely manner Ability to work cooperatively with both peers and supervisors Ability to work seasonal overtime as business necessities Works well independently and interacts effectively with external parties including vendors and contractors Ability to lift on a regular basis up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift to 50 lbs. Strong organizational and goal setting skills This position will work in-person at our office located in Madison, WI.
