JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Director of Undergraduate Experiential Learning will be responsible for developing a new experiential learning course required for all Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) undergraduates. They will design this new course and deliver the first section in spring 2025. The course will deliver a signature experiential learning experience as a capstone for our BBA students. The director will work with the Executive Director of Industry Relations to shape projects sourced from entities including corporations, non-for profits, and others into high-quality, team-based projects. This involves scoping business projects, fostering client relationships, and supervising the transition of consulting projects to instructors of a new undergraduate capstone course, eventually serving over 1,000 students annually. The Director may teach from 6-12 credits per year in the experiential learning space. Responsibilities: Provides classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction associated with more than one lecture or laboratory course, assists with the design and execution of administrative functions associated with academic instruction and the development of pedagogy/andragogy or assessment tools and resources to support quality student learning. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record. 10% Designs curriculum and/or techniques for instruction in a disciplinary area and suggests new ways of effective instruction in courses within that discipline 5% Assesses learner performance and prepares reports recommending instructional improvements 5% Develops teaching techniques that enhance course effectiveness in alignment with desired outcomes and established strategy and trains faculty and other instructional staff in use of said instructional techniques and programs 5% Presents evaluations of teaching methods and techniques to those in the institution and elsewhere 40% Provides classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction, including grading 10% Supervises the day-to-day activities of work unit employees involved in instructional support as...
