Our Care Staff enjoy some excellent benefits: \$19.00/HR to \$21.00/HR Flexible scheduling, variety of assignments and work-life balance Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University As a member of our care team, here\'s a big-picture view of what you\'ll do: Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment A few must-haves for Care staff: High school diploma (or equivalent) Compliance training required to work in facilities (Interim can provide) Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance. Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor. Participate in case reviews, consulting with the team caring for the client, to evaluate the client\'s needs and plan for continuing services. Care for individuals or families during periods of incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles. Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands. Instruct or advise clients on issues, such as household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene, nutrition, or infant care. Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shopping for, or preparing nutritious meals. Provide clients with communication assistance, typing their correspondence or obtaining information for them.
