JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Job Description Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a CAB/Release Manager to work on a long-term consulting project. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining Change Advisory Board and Release Management plans, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, managing issues, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the specific CAB/Release Management they are managing. Project Managers work closely with cross functional teams and communicate with Stakeholders and Sponsors to ensure that the quality of CAB and Release Management aligns with approval/s for the releases. Duties for this position will also include: * Organizes and plan activities for a change. * Provide necessary information to the owner of the change * Organizes CAB meeting and provide necessary inputs * Review and document change plan * Resolve issues related to change * Manages and drives the overall success of the release management cycle. * Responsible for planning and executing the overall releases. * Establish and maintain the integrity and availability of the existing systems. * Work across cross functional teams and environments to plan feature releases considering the release schedule. * Work closely with Quality Assurance testing teams. * Communicate release expectations across all impacted users. * Prepares and manages all release communications Required skills and experience: * 5+ years of technology, project, CAB and/or release management experience * Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or good familiarity with the Agile methodologies. * Experience in with software change management and managing SDLC environments. * Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence * Experience in leading by influence with development teams and working in multi-team environment * Experience of working in a fast pace environment, navigating through complexities and competing priorities from multiple teams and facilitate cross functional team efforts on releases and DevOps process. * Strong verbal and written communication skills The annual salary for this position is in the \$120,000-\$125,000 range.
