JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Job Summary: The Department of Educational Policy Studies seeks a candidate who will contribute to the department\'s multi-disciplinary expertise. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of established philosophical scholarship on pressing, contemporary concerns. Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or terminal degree in philosophy, education, or a related field by the position start date. Candidates at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor must possess experience and scholarly credentials suitable for appointment with tenure at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Responsibilities: Principal Duties: The individual hired for this open rank position is expected to conduct original work and generate scholarly publications sufficient for tenure at a major research university; develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in educational policy studies, with a focus on philosophy of education and urgent contemporary concerns; supervise and serve on the committees of Master\'s and Doctoral candidates; serve on departmental, School of Education, and university committees; and engage in professional service at the university, local, state, regional, national and/or international level commensurate with their appointment level.
