Overview: [MANCON is seeking a Site Manager (SM) for a potential Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contract award performing Chemical Management Services (CMS) at Warner Robins Air Force Base. The SM shall manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of CMS and logistics support onsite from Government provided office spaces at Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC). The SM must possess experience with CMS in an industrial environment providing inventory management, warehousing, and distribution of hazardous material (HAZMAT). The SM position will report to the CMS Program Manager.

  • Manage the performance of CMS operation and personnel during all shifts.
  • Plan, schedule, and lead CMS personnel to successfully accomplish daily workload requirements in a timely and safe manner.
  • Serve as the onsite point of contact with DLA Aviation for daily performance of CMS.
  • Promote and adhere to compliance with all Safety and Environmental Programs, and employ protocols to maintain safety in the workplace.
  • Manage and execute Standard Operating Procedures and a Quality Assurance Program to achieve contract performance requirements.
  • Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Identify and resolve challenges effecting contract performance.
  • Develop and maintain a professional working environment and communications with CMS contract stakeholders.
  • Attend and participate in CMS Customer Service and production meetings with DLA Aviation and WR-ALC leadership.
  • Serve as the Alternate Program Manager in the absence of the Program Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Ten years experience in HAZMAT management including warehousing, distribution, and inventory control.
  • Three years experience using a HAZMAT Tracking System.
  • Possess analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in desktop computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining Department of Defense SECRET Clearance.
  • Additional applicable certification may be required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military experience and training.

Physical Requirements: Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally. []{style="font
